View inside Castle at Blaise Castle Estate free entry and walk around this beautiful park. Some challenging paths& steep climbs including steps.

The Folly (1766): Commissioned by wealthy merchant Thomas Farr, the folly was designed by Robert Mylne as a non-defensive, ornamental gothic castle to resemble a medieval fortress. It was built to showcase grand views of the estate.
The Mansion (1796-1798): John Scandrett Harford demolished the existing dwelling and commissioned William Paty to build a new, Neoclassical mansion, which now serves as the Blaise Castle House Museum.
Landscaping: Famous landscape designer Humphry Repton was employed to create the picturesque grounds in the early 19th century.
Blaise Hamlet: A collection of nine distinct, picturesque cottages designed by John Nash and George Repton in the early 1800s for retired employees, now owned by the National Trust.
