Petanque is a game played with Boules. These are small, but heavy, metal balls. The object of the game is for your team to get as many of their Boules closer to the 'cochonet' (a small wooden ball) than the opposing team. It is a game that requires no previous experience or particular aptitude, suitable for all ages and abilities.

There is no charge for this event, but you must agree to abide by the rules set by the organiser and only use the equipment provided. You must be able to attend for the full time. Also, please be aware that if the pitch is fully in use we may not be able to play at all and may switch to a game of skittles in the nearby Harington Club.

ARRIVE FOR 7pm. We will start when the first 8 players are present.
We will play a Knockout format, each team playing two games.

PLAYERS ATTEND AT THEIR OWN PERSONAL RISK AND ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN ACTIONS.
