An exhibition by documentary photographer Polly Braden in collaboration with young people in coastal towns across England
This summer, Arnolfini presents Against the Tide, a new exhibition by documentary photographer Polly Braden, created in collaboration with young people growing up in some of the most deprived and often forgotten places across England.

1st floor
Known for his striking installations, Jonathan Baldock combines ceramics, textiles and sound to create environments that are both playful and thought-provoking. His work draws on folklore, traditional craft and personal history, shaped by skills passed down through generations of making.

2nd floor
From poetry, painting, and photography, to textile, illustration and moving image, this exhibition celebrates the vibrant world of the Diverse Artist Network.
This group exhibition features 18 artists from the Diverse Artist Network, whose work touches upon ideas of belonging and place, cultural memory and ancestral threads, and resistance and voice.
