Alfie Moore - A Face for Radio

Alfie was a serving police officer and made his name as a contestant on the ITV 'Show Me The Funny' series. He is now a comedy writer/performer and brings to his shows a wealth of insights and entertaining moments from his years on the beat. Alfie has an observational comedic style, with witty and often gritty anecdotes based on modern day policing!

After the police, Alfie made a bid for showbiz success - but unfortunately 30 years of shift-work and being punched in the face had left him with ‘a face for radio’. A face not so much ‘lived in’ as inhabited by a settlement of squatters with little regard to property maintenance and repair. This is the true story of ‘Fair Cop’ Alfie’s big plan to transition from the BBC radio waves to TV star.
