Chippenham Film Club: Proxima

Chippenham Film Club brings movies to the town that would not normally be seen on the big screen. Films are monthly, shown at The Reel and patrons need to be at least 16 years of age. No membership required. Tickets are £7.50, which is reduced to £4.50 after joining.

Sarah is a French astronaut training at the European Space Agency in Cologne and is the only woman in the arduous program. She lives alone with Stella, her eight-year-old daughter, and Sarah feels guilty that they cannot spend more time together. When Sarah is chosen to join the crew of a year-long space mission (called Proxima) it creates tension within their relationship.

Please arrive promptly as there are no adverts or trailers so all performances start exactly at 7.30pm. Seating is unreserved so if you would like to sit in a particular spot it's best to arrive a few minutes early.
