Brockweir to Tintern via Devil's Pulpit Walk. The path up through the woods is a steep climb, unsuitable for the wobbly or infirm. about 5 miles. Directions - M4 west to M48 (old Severn bridge crossing) . leave straight after the bridge at junction 2, take the A466 past Chepstow racecourse and on to the Brockweir turn on the right Postcode NP16 7NG, O/S Grid Ref SO 540 012. Bring drinking water, waterproof clothing, walking boots. Well-behaved dogs are allowed, though must be on leads when appropriate.
