Join me for a new book group in Bath. This month we will be reading ’Never let me go’ by Kazuo Ishiguro (link below). I’ve secured the large, comfortable and generally quiet seating area at the Beckford Bottle Shop - a fabulous wine bar and restaurant on Saville Row between Bennett St and Alfred St. All participants are expected to buy a drink (small plates and nibbles are also available). In our first meeting, we will set the books for the following quarter so please bring your suggestions…at this stage, there are no restrictions as to genre/age/length of book (that may change!).
As such, group rules are: 1. RSVP, 2. Read book, 3. Turn up. 4. Buy drink, 5. Have a book suggestion for future use.
Numbers are limited to 8 to start with but a waiting list will apply so I can see if I need to adjust (and if that will work).
