Ever had a story you've told a hundred times in your head, but never out loud, in front of anyone?

This September, THE BEAR invites you to a full-day immersion into the art of true, personal storytelling. Raw, focused, and deeply human. Whether you've never told a story on stage before or you're ready to sharpen your craft, this 12-hour journey will gently push you past your comfort zone. That's where clarity, courage, and connection begin.

🎤 What this workshop is

A hands-on, in-person intensive where you take one real moment from your life and shape it into a 5-minute story that lands. No performance tricks. No polish for polish's sake. Just structure, honesty, and practice.

FIND: Uncover the real story behind your memories, through guided exercises that surface which moments carry weight, and why.

CRAFT: Shape your story with structure, tension, and heart.

TELL: Practice telling it out loud, in a supportive room, with feedback that builds confidence rather than picking you apart.

💭 What you'll experience

• A 90-minute online prep session the week before
• A 12-hour, in-person storytelling intensive in Berlin
• Guided exercises to unlock memories and shape your narrative
• Multiple rounds of practice and peer feedback
• Personalized coaching from an experienced story coach
• A printable handout you can reuse for future stories

You'll laugh, you might cry, and by the end of the day you'll feel gloriously spent, in the best possible way. When we're that tired, the armour falls away, and what's left is honest, brave, and beautifully human.

🎟 A chance to take the stage
Workshop participants can put their name in the hat to perform their story at THE BEAR's Open Stage Show on September 17, 2026, in front of a live, cheering audience. Performance is optional. Growth is not.

Strange neighbors. Funny uncles. Short-lived romances. Life-changing mistakes. Moments you've never talked about out loud. Even the most ordinary lives hold stories that can move a room to laughter or tears. This workshop helps you find those stories, and tell them in a way that connects.

Dyane is a storyteller, trainer, and communication coach who has worked with professionals, creatives, and leaders from around the world since 2011. She founded THE BEAR in 2015 and has curated over 1,000 personal stories on stage.
