“Beekeeping Age” - Gay Men in their 40s in Chgo

We are of "beekeeping age.” That’s slang social media term for describing wise, independent, handsome men in their 40s. It has its origins in a cartoon sitcom called “Rick and Morty.” And this group is aimed at Chicago-based GAY & BI MEN IN THEIR 40s. The goal: to make friends. It seems like the older we get, the harder it becomes to make friends, but friendship is important at any age. Sadly, a lot of gay men are ageist, and they consider 40 to be the new 80. We beg to differ 😉
