What is more challenging than analyzing big data? Interpreting SMALL data!!

Big data presents its problem but also comes with quite an advantage: you can almost always identify patterns and get conclusions. Hopefully, the right ones ^^.

Many of us are not that lucky to deal with millions (billions!) of records and struggle to be “data-driven” with just a few thousands or even a few hundreds (or… cough cough… few dozens).

This is a challenge that Julian Sallmon went through already in 4scotty. In this session he will share with us some of the things that did or didn’t work, with some unmissable tips to help all the common folks like us nail small-data interpretation.

Julian is a small-data scientist (not small data-scientist) with a background in sociology and politics that got his hands very, very dirty trying to interpret data in some of the most challenging environments (as in, environments with almost no data)
