Potato Patch Campground / Mingus Mountain

Located atop Mingus Mountain at 7,000 feet in Ponderosa Pines, Potato Patch Campground offers fairly easy access via a paved and winding mountain road. There is access to the Woodchute Wilderness and Woodchute Trailhead #102, and the historic mining town of Jerome is 8 miles northeast on U.S. Highway 89A.

Outdoor activity includes camping, hiking, biking, stargazing, picnicking, OHVing, wildlife viewing and visiting the historic mining town of Jerome.
