Bi+ Velvet Tacos 🌮 & Pride Parade March! 🏳️‍🌈🦖🎈 (Open to Bi’s & Allies!)

It’s the queerest night of the year, y’all! Let’s link up for dinner, sparkle, and bi visibility at the 2026 Austin Pride Parade on Saturday, August 22, 2026. This year’s theme is “¡Viva la Resistencia!”—a reminder that queer joy is resistance and visibility saves lives. 🌈

We’ll start with dinner at Velvet Taco downtown, then head to the meetup spot to join one of our Bi Umbrella members, Stacy Pineapple's company, Balloon Collective, to march in the parade together and soak in the magic! ✨ This year Stacy's group is going for a dinosaur theme. Think: Bi-ceratops, Trans-asaurus Rex, etc. 🦕 Feel free to join in the gay dino fun! 🦖

Then whoever wants to is welcome to join the afterparty outside of RAIN on 4th street. There will be DJs playing all night.

Meet up at the Texas State Capitol at 7pm, march down Congress Avenue at 8pm, ending at Congress Bridge/Cesar Chavez by around 10 PM.

Part 3: Optional post-parade block party hosted by RAIN @ 10pm-??
RAIN is hosting the after party on 4th street with DJs going all night! Whoever has energy to join is welcome.

Living our lives out loud, in joy, is resistance. Let's talk about it: where do you feel most free as a bi+ person? Where do you still feel boxed in? How do we keep choosing joy even when it's political just to exist?
