Ezra, the passionate teacher - Bible study of the book of Ezra
Details
As Jeremiah the prophet had foretold, the captives of Judah spent 70 years exiled from their land in Babylon.
Ezra leads the second group of exiles to Jerusalem in 458 BC. He was a teacher of the Law and zealous to teach its decrees to his people. Ezra's memoirs show a man who cared for the wellbeing of his community and did not set himself up above their weaknesses and failings.
Cameras and interaction are encouraged so the group can benefit from a respectful and active discourse. Non-Christians intending to learn about the Bible are welcome.
