Astrology is an excellent practical and useful tool for understanding ourselves, our motivations, and the universe around us. It is much more than the sun sign columns found in newspapers and magazines. Whether you are just starting to learn or are a professional astrologer, this is where everyone speaks the same language. Everyone is invited to ask questions on any level, share observations, and exchange ideas. Everyone is encouraged to participate, and if you are interested in presenting a lecture or discussion topic, please contact the organizers. We are open to considering astrology-based ideas of all kinds.

Join astrologer, teacher, and author Rebecca Gordon on Wednesday, August 12, the evening of the Leo Solar Eclipse, for a special workshop exploring one of astrology’s most transformative celestial events.
For thousands of years, eclipses have been regarded as astrology’s most powerful catalysts for change.
A solar eclipse is more than a New Moon. It marks the beginning of a new cycle, illuminating possibilities that may have been quietly taking shape beneath the surface.
A lunar eclipse brings release, completion, and the space for something new to emerge.
Together, we’ll explore the Leo Solar Eclipse of August 12 and the Pisces Lunar Eclipse of August 27 through the remarkable 18-year Saros Cycle.
You’ll receive a guided worksheet to trace your own eclipse story, reflect on the themes returning now, and discover how this season may be shaping the years ahead.
This evening carries special meaning for Rebecca as well. She was born just after a Leo Solar Eclipse, and many of the defining chapters of her life have begun under Leo eclipse seasons. It also marks her final New York City lecture before beginning a new chapter in Mexico City, where she will continue her work through Casa Constelación—a place devoted to astrology, creativity, hospitality, and community.
For Rebecca, this evening will be a send-off and a beautiful way to celebrate this moment of transition with the New York astrology community that has been such an important part of her own journey.
