Event Description:
The Vedic myths pertaining to the planets have something to offer astrologers on every path – regardless of whether one practices western or Vedic astrology. Join us for an introduction to the planetary myths in the Indian tradition.

Vedic mythology invites us to look past the symbols on a chart and meet the planets as living entities. By exploring the mythology and human-like personifications of the nine Vedic planets—including the shadow nodes Rahu and Ketu—we gain a window into their "inner essence."

These ancient stories reveal how these celestial bodies existed in more human forms, with their own desires, rivalries, and duties. Understanding their origins allows us to see how they influence us from deep within the universe, acting as cosmic administrators with specific agendas to fulfill our life prophecies.

Every planet is a character in a grand celestial play, and their mythological nature dictates how they handle your destiny:

The Benefics (Jupiter, Venus, Moon): These are the cosmic nurturers. Because their mythological essence is rooted in wisdom, beauty, and care, they inherently seek to bless. Even when placed in difficult "houses" or life sectors, their innate nature is to provide a silver lining or a disguised grace.

The Malefics (Saturn, Mars, Rahu): These are the cosmic warriors and disciplinarians. Their stories are born of struggle, duty, and intense ambition. Consequently, their influence is less tender and often feels "harsher," as they utilize friction and pressure to ensure the soul meets its karmic obligations.

Join us as we bridge the gap between ancient mythology and modern practice to reveal the innate nature and propensities of planets that enact your personal destiny.
