Details

🚨 Save The Date: The next Big Tech Debate – 12th June! 🚨

In partnership with Counter & MRJ Recruitment, we’re thrilled to confirm the next instalment of The Big Tech Debate – and reveal our full speaker line-up for both motions:

🎀 Motion 1: "Modernisation is overrated – legacy applications still deliver."

For: Anna Rebecca Aitchison, Senior System Engineer at Ticketline, will champion the power and longevity of legacy tech.

Against: Jacob Clark, Director of Engineering at Hyperact, will take a stand for modernisation and the importance of progress.

🎀 Motion 2: "AI adoption is driven by greed and fear – and is destroying quality."

For: Liam Walsh, Senior Software Engineer at Awaze, will unpack the darker motivations and impacts behind AI’s rapid rise.

Against: Richard B., a transformation leader with a track record in large-scale change at major companies, now deeply embedded in the AI and Risk space. With extensive hands-on experimentation and a pragmatic view of AI’s real potential, Richard will challenge the narrative head-on.

πŸ’¬ Expect bold ideas, sharp arguments, quality networking, and of course, Double Zero pizza.
