Bike the LOOP: from Hole in the Rock, thru Papago Park to Lou's!
3pm ready to pedal
Long scenic ride LOOP + pit stop at Lou's Grill (you'll ♥ this place) with live music!!

This is by far our most scenic LOOP ride we do.
About 2 hour pedal (leisurely) with several stops.

If you want to hike up to the Hole, come at 2:15 (optional). Photo Ops!!!
Pedal From Hole In The Rock
♦ We will pedal thru impressive Papago Park, skirting around the back side of the Phx Zoo and Botanical Gardens!
♦ We will head North up the Crosscut Canal, and then along the AZ Canal - then down the OLD Crosscut Canal Path (no water) thru the parks, and along McDowell on the sidewalk for 4 blocks.
Whewwww....
The reward will be Lou's... ahhhhhh : )
♦ A GREAT stop at Lou's Bar & Grill at Papago Park Golf Course, with live music on the greens. Great hidden gem.
♦ Once we leave Lou's - about 10 minutes back to our cars, and we cut thru Papago Park on the other side, to where we have parked by Hole In The Rock.

14 miles.
We will make a giant loop. It's mostly all dedicated bike path, but we have several streets to cross (at lights), and 4 blocks to pedal on the sidewalk.

MEET: At the Hole In The Rock parking lot (Papago Park, Tempe).
If you want to scamper up to the Hole beforehand, come early!!
Be ready to pedal at 3:00 SHARP. Don't be late.

About Papago Park: found in the center of Phoenix, this 1,496 acre park features world-class natural attractions for biking, hiking, and rock rappelling, as well as the Papago Golf Course with Lou's Bar & Grill, famous Hole-In-The-Rock, Phoenix Zoo and the Desert Botanical Garden. Several dedicated bike trails wind through the park.
