PEDAL Tempe Town Lake to Bird Sanctuary

We pedal far west along Temp Towne Lake to the Rio Salado Audubon Center, then return to finish at 100 Mile Brewery [optional]
We have pedaled Tempe Town Lake many times, but this morning we bike farther west than we have ever gone.
This is an easy loooooong ride - 9.5 miles each way on the serene bike path. No roads to cross.
We will pass the Burrowing Owl habitants, and stop to check them out.
At the turn around point, we stop at Nina Mason Pullliam Rio Salado Audubon Center - entry FREE - where we will spend a 15 minute break saying hello to our feathered friends there, and hearing from the Director as to what is going on in the Valley with the Owls and the Audubon Center!

MEET at the TTL Marina/Boat Launch no later than 9:15am
Be ready to pedal at 9:30am

ROUTE: From Tempe Town Lake marina/boat launch parking lot, across the pedestrian bridge, then west west west west along the bike path to the Audubon Center - 9.5 miles each way.
19 miles total pedal - brisk, but social pace.
All on the bike path.
No one gets left behind.
Should be back to the marina/boat launch around NOON for [optional] lunch & brews at 100 Mile.
