Pedal from OHSO on Heritage Trail (Gilbert) to the Hanger

Bike the Heritage Trail- Mesa/Chandler/Gilbert
This is a down-and-back ride, with a stop at the Hanger Cafe. About an hour each way.

Meet at: OHSO Gilbert
Park in the Hearne Plaza Garage -a public parking structure located at 28 E. Vaughn Avenue, just east of Gilbert Road next to OHSO
Show up by 9:15 and be ready to pedal by 9:30am

ROUTE: The gentle-grade dedicated bike path - Consolidated Canal - connects 3 cities: Chandler (where it is also known as the Paseo Trail), Gilbert (known here as the Heritage Trail) and Mesa.
We pedal about 8 miles (each way) to the small but mighty Chandler Municipal Airport - home to the popular Hangar Cafe, where visitors can dine on a patio overlooking the runway.

Path all paved.
We pedal at a moderate pace - about 10 - 11 mph.
1 hour each way / 8 miles each way
