About Paul Veradittakit, Pantera Capital:
Paul is a Partner at Pantera Capital and focuses on the firm’s venture capital and hedge fund investments. Pantera Capital is the earliest and largest institutional investor in digital currencies and blockchain technologies, formerly managing over $1B. Since joining in 2014, Paul has helped to launch the firm’s second venture fund and currency funds, executing over 100 investments. Paul also sits on the board of Staked, Blockfolio, and Alchemy, is a mentor at The House Fund, Boost VC, and Alchemist, and is an advisor to Orchid, Origin, and AI Foundation. Prior to joining Pantera, Paul worked at Strive Capital as an Associate focusing on investments in the mobile space, including an early stage investment in App Annie. Previously, Paul was at Hatch Consulting and LECG and performed partnerships and growth for Urban Spoils, an early stage startup in the daily deal space. Paul graduated from the University of California, Berkeley.
About Jason Fang, Sora Ventures:
Jason is the founder and Managing Partner at Sora Ventures, Asia’s leading venture capital firm dedicated to blockchain and digital asset investments. Sora is one of the earliest institutionalized blockchain funds in Asia to fundraise from family offices in late 2017. Sora Ventures is the lead investor for Mithril, and invested into more than a dozen blockchain companies including Thunder, The Block, Mainframe, Origin Protocol, Urbit, Numerai, and Fuel Games. He also founded Sora Foundation, an initiative that consists of blockchain development, Sora Terminal; a KYC wallet for community development, and Sora Summit, a 2-day blockchain conference held in Macau in 2018 with 70 speakers and over 800 attendees. Prior to Sora, Jason was the Head of Global Business Development at Juzix (now PlatON), a leading blockchain company led by Wanxiang Holdings that focused on distributed ledger technology and multi-party computation. Jason joined the blockchain industry in early 2016 as an Investment Associate at Fenbushi Capital, Asia’s first blockchain venture capital firm where he managed deal-flows and post management of companies in North America. In addition to his active role in blockchain investments, Jason is the Director of Blockchain Institute in Chicago, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the adoption, development, and use of blockchain technology by providing free education to the public. Jason is also an active mentor at Alchemist Accelerator in Silicon Valley and Startupbootcamp in China.
