Speaker Bio:

Kate has a degree from York University in Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship as well as a degree in English Literature and Professional Writing from Concordia University. She has a background in cybersecurity and has been developing on the Ethereum blockchain for the past 3 years. Kate founded the Concordia University Blockchain Club and is a community organizer for Blockchain Developers United, a monthly developer meetup focusing on hands-on training and education. She has also worked extensively in the nonprofit world, focusing on creating sustainable community-based projects in developing and post-conflict economies. Currently, Kate is developing an offline cryptocurrency payment remittance system.
