Piney Woods Paddle & Float Day
Join the Cedar Creek Paddle Club for a laid-back day at Tyler State Park, surrounded by towering pines, and great company.

The Plan:

• 10:00 AM – Group Hike
  Start the day on the trails before the heat sets in.
• 11:30 AM – Picnic & Float
  Bring a sack lunch to enjoy lakeside, then relax with a swim or float.
• 1:00 PM – Paddle Time
  Kayak or paddleboard at your own pace. Bring your own gear or rent from the park.

What to Bring:

• Sack lunch & drinks
• Kayak or paddleboard (or plan to rent)
• Sunscreen, hat, water shoes
• Park entry fee (unless you have a Texas State Parks Pass)

This isn’t a rigid itinerary—just a relaxed day enjoying nature, friendship, and the lake life in the Piney Woods. Come for the whole day or just part of it, and soak up the beauty of one of East Texas’s most loved state parks.
