My friends, today we will talk about the greatest writers in history, the genius Leo Tolstoy (1828-1910). We will take a look at his two greatest novels, War and Peace and Anna Karenina.

In War and Peace (1869), Tolstoy introduced us to Russian society, families, the war with Napoleon, and how war changed people's lives.

Anna Karenina (1878), Tolstoy tells us the story of a married woman who falls in love with another man. Tolstoy informs us how society treated women in the 19th century differently from men.

The question is, what happened to Tolstoy after he finished his two books? Did he lose the meaning of life? Is he starting to search for the truth? Is he the last inspiration?

While his books continue to inspire the world. All that affects his relationship with his wife, who's behind most of his success.

At age 82, Tolstoy left his home hoping for a simple life; he died in 1910 during his journey at a remote railway station in Astapovo, Russia, and the world lost its giant.
