This is a reading group for those in their 20s, 30s, and 40s. If that's you, come join us in Balboa Park to share about the latest book you're reading (or have read). We'll each get an opportunity to share about our book (why we chose to read it; what we liked and didn't like; and whether we'd recommend it). This is really a place to get to know each other and to learn about books that we might not normally read, but after hearing someone share, we might give them a shot. So bring a lawn chair, a picnic blanket, or something else to sit on and join us!

Additionally, we are open to various types of books: novels, short story collections, poetry, nonfiction, fiction, comics/graphic novels, historical fiction, sci-fi, fantasy, thrillers, noir, literary fiction, biographies, YA, middle grade, mystery, crime, academic studies, Gothic, satire, humor, horror, and other types of books.

Furthermore, presenting different books can lead to various topics including info about writers, politics, the environment, scientific studies, philosophical discussions, religion, and many other potential topics.

There are two, small parking lots on Balboa Drive, very close to where we meet. To access these lots, from 6th Ave and Upas, you turn onto Balboa Dr and enter the park. Drive past Quince and you'll see them on the right.

Note: If you cannot make it, that is okay. Just make sure to change your attendance status ASAP. Additionally, if you do plan to show up, try arriving on time. It makes it easier to set up groups, stay within time, and it helps decrease disruptions.
