Using his experience delivering penetration testing and other offensive security assessments to a wide range of organizations, Nick Jones will talk through the most common attack scenarios in cloud-native environments, and the most critical security controls to have in place. Attendees will come away with a clearer understanding of the real-world security threats to their AWS workloads, and actionable advice on what to prioritize to make sure their data and applications remain secure.

Nick Jones is the cloud security lead and a senior security consultant at F-Secure Consulting, where he focuses on AWS security and attack detection in advanced, cloud-native organisations. He has been delivering offensive security testing and consultancy to a world-wide client base, including some of the world's largest financial organisations, for over 7 years. Nick has previously spoken at DEF CON Cloud Village, fwd:cloudsec, Cloud Native Security Day, t2 and DevSecCon, and maintains Leonidas, an open-source framework for simulating attacks against cloud environments.
