Judy Woods 6.5 mile walk! HX3 8QD

Meet at the Pear Tree Inn HX3 8QD
A pleasant walk through Judy Woods to reach Low Bentley.
Then through Shelf Woods to reach Shelf Hall Park. From here we take a lane through open pasture land then a footpath leading into Sun Wood, to emerge into meadows, and taking a footpath leading to Coley Hall Lane, and turning right to reach St Pauls church. We then turn left along Coley Road to reach a footpath leading to Wynteredge Hall. We pass in front of the Hall along footpaths down to Priestley Green. Walk left along Shutts Lane and through a doorway into meadowland following footpaths towards Norwood Green. Before entering the village we via right towards Rookes Hall, then a footpath to reach The Pear Tree pub. (Refreshments hear if required).
There are a couple of short steepish descents/ assents, but quite manageable for anyone with a good fitness level!

Usual £1 fee towards annual subscription costs. Alternatively £10 for a years subscription.
This is a social not for profit group.
Your event host has no formal qualifications as a walk leader. The walk will have been recced prior to being announced, and is there to guide you along the route, and make sure everyone stays together.
Please be aware you are responsible for your own safety, and mindful of others safety.
Requirements: Snack/Food and drink, walking boots, fleece, gloves, waterproof coat and trousers.
