Villages Along the Aire Valley 7 miles

Hope you can join us for this lovely walk that crosses farmland and the villages of Micklethwaite and East and West Morton, makes good use of the Leeds/Liverpool canal towpath for an easy level return to your start point at Bingley.
The village of Micklethwaite is an attractive village that has won the 'Best Kept Village in Yorkshire' accolade a couple of times and is protected as a Conservation Area. A settlement here dates back to the days of the Vikings (10th century) but the existing village buildings date to between the 17th and 19th centuries.
Dogs are welcome if kept on lead.
