Hi. This is not a Bradford Ramblers event but Michelle and Steve have kindly allowed me to share it with you.
Portugal 2027 - Fisherman’s Trail - Rota Vicentina
Jan 24 11 nights – Vacancies (for single, double or shared occupancy)
Vacancies have become available on our walking trip to Portugal next year, organised by
Bradford CHA. We are walking parts of the long distance trail – Rota Vicentina. The group is flying
from Leeds Bradford airport on a Jet2 flight and will be staying at the NH Hotel (previously known
as Tivoli Hotel) in Lagos, in the Algarve region.
The walking is suitable for what in our group we call A & B walkers. The A walks are 12 – 14 miles
long with up to 300 m ascent. The B walks are between 6.5 and 9.5 miles with up to 300 m ascent.
We have transport taking us to the start of each walk and collecting the group at the end of the
day. Leaders will be found amongst our group.
There are 8 days of walking and we are therefore walking 8 stages of the Fisherman’s trail,
starting in Zambujeira. The A party completes one stage each day and the B party completes part
of one stage. Both groups finish at the same destination. The final walk finishes in Lagos.
We have a group booking with Jet2 so the vacancies would fill the vacated places. A breakdown
of approximate costs pp is a
Flight: £150 (+ optional hold luggage - £95)
Hotel: B&B - £670/ 770 single occupancy (normal/superior room)

  • £390 pp sharing in a twin room
  • £435 pp for a couple in a double room
Transport: £150 approx. (this may change slightly depending on the final number of guests).
