Second March Walk- Shears Inn 6 miles

Starting at The Shears Inn, Paris Gates, Boys Lane, Halifax HX3 9EZ. 6 mile walk.
Bring sandwiches and a drink. Usual stout shoes, waterproofs, warm clothing, gloves and hat. A lovely jaunt through old cobbled streets and grassy walkways. Views of wonder and interesting local history. Something for everyone. Steep to start which tests your heart. We are not entering for the olympics - so enjoy! Afterwards we will pop in the pub and have a meal or just a drink. The choice is yours! See you there! Deborah

The Shears have said we can park there for free. It is large around the back of the pub and near the beck. Please don’t park in the pub car park if you are not going in for a drink afterwards.




No stiles and dogs are welcome but will need to be on lead near livestock.

We can't guarantee the finish time. The meetup system means we have to put a finish time on the event but it depends on the pace of the group on the day.
Don't worry about Unpaid by your name, we don't use that system. £1 on the day please.
