To meet at the greyhound pub. 23 Tong Ln, Tong, Bradford BD4 0RR. Anyone staying for a drink can park in their car park near the end where all the outside tables are. It’s just over 5 mile. There’s 3 inclines (1 long ish one, 2 smaller ones) and plenty of mud. The route we took today had 4 stiles (I think!) Bring a packed lunch, dogs welcome but very muddy in places and, depending which route we opt for, may need to be on a lead at times. Check the weather for appropriate clothing. £1 for the walk payable on the day.
The only place suitable for a lunch stop is at the Blackhouse pub which is only about 40 minutes from the start of the walk, hence the later start. They do serve food so we need to be discreet with our lunches in the beer garden!
