Oxspring walk - 6.5 miles
Details
Starting from the playing fields car park at Oxspring (PLEASE DON’T PARK IN PUB CARPARK).
This walk includes part of the Transpennine trail - including the tunnel - fields and woods with lovely views throughout.
The terrain is varied with a steep climb near the beginning and a short, sharp incline near the end. There’s a few stiles and some stepping stones over a stream but all manageable.
Dogs very welcome.
No mud on the recce but who knows on the day dependant on the weather so appropriate footwear clothing and walking poles if required as usual.
We’ll have a lunch stop half way if you’d like to bring some food and drink and go to the pub for a drink after the walk if you’d like to join us.
We can't guarantee the finish time. The meetup system means we have to put a finish time on the event but it depends on the pace of the group on the day.
Don't worry about Unpaid by your name, we don't use that system. £1 on the day please.
