Join us for our SECOND meetup! We will introduce ourselves, discuss the future of our group, take in suggestions from members and present flyers from our calendar. Sponsored MixToGo Mag Bag to the first 20 members to RSVP AND SHOW UP!
We meet at another of our favorite parks in Brooklyn (we will get to our top 12 in 12 weeks of summer in our Facebook group, also known as The Brooklyn Way).
Remsen Playground is a neighborhood park recently renovated. We will host demo skate sessions here. Bring your own skates.
5pm: discussion about the group
5:30-7pm: skate & dance demonstration
(DJ Freedom spins a 90 minute skate & dance set, just a warm up so you get an idea of what's coming!)
If you'd like to help us organize, we are looking for assistants (non paid) who can help us organize our meetups, act as ambassadors to our members and more. Please inquire separately by email: SkateCrates@gmail.com.
This event will NOT happen here if it rains!! If that happens, we will meet at Silk Cove Lounge (Rockaway Parkway) from 6-8pm.
