This June, Team TheBrownTicket invites travel enthusiasts & culture/heritage lovers for an expedition to some spectacular landscapes and revel in some rare experiences of Ladakh. Experience the mystique and heart-thumping energy of "chhams" or dances performed by monks wearing colourful masks and brocade costumes to the accompaniment of cymbals, drums and long horns during the annual Hemis Monastery Festival, at the biggest & holiest Buddhist monasteries of the world! Take a stroll along the shores of the expansive Tsomoriri (Lake) whose waters change colour by the hour, making you feel it’s an artist at work who continuously paints new shades into the lake waters! Or be awe-struck by the confluence of lakhs of stars in the Milky Way from the high ranges of Ladhak. And sip Ladakhi tea as you indulge in some Yak wool weaving with master craftspersons!
