## What is Launch & Lounge?

Launch & Lounge is a cosy, small-group meetup designed for students and recent grads to connect, share stories, and get real guidance about building a life and career in Ireland – without pressure or formality.

It’s not another stiff networking event.
It’s a space to talk, laugh, learn, and build community — the kind of community that makes Ireland feel like home.

We’ve lived in Ireland for 6+ years, and one big lesson we’ve learned is:

This event is our way of helping you tap into that.

## What Happens During the Event

### 1️⃣ Welcome + Purpose

We’ll start with a short intro to:

• Why this isn’t just about jobs – it’s about life here, too
• How to make the most of your student/grad experience
• Why community matters so much in Ireland
• Why The Buddy Social exists

### 2️⃣ Fun Icebreaker

• We’ll split into groups of 3–4.
• You’ll share interesting facts, meet new people, and instantly break the awkwardness.
• It’s chill, simple, and always gets people laughing.

### 3️⃣ Career Building in Ireland Mini-Session

A light, engaging presentation where mentors share:

Short, timeline-style stories about career paths, moves, mistakes, and wins – real, honest, no sugar-coating.
