What we’re about
### Who This is For:
You are a high-performing, deeply caring human—often a hyper-achiever—who is exhausted from living in systems that have rewarded your compliance but robbed you of your agency. You are outwardly capable but inwardly depleted, caught in toxic patterns and environments that leave you feeling unseen, unfree, and emotionally unsafe.
Even though you’re trying, things just aren’t landing. You want peace. Space. Room to breathe. You want your “no” to be respected, your voice to be heard, and your boundaries to be honored without the fear of losing love or security. You’re ready for a new chapter, but you feel stuck in a cycle of over-functioning and people-pleasing—believing that your worth is tied to how much you do or how well you perform.
You’ve tried doing all the “right” things—meditation, movement, self-help strategies, even higher education. But none of it feels like a real fix. It’s like pouring water into a sink with no stopper. The tactics may help in moments, but they can’t hold healing when the deeper wounds go untouched.
For a long time, you believed the answer was to do more or be “good enough” to feel safe—thinking that if you just kept others happy, you could finally rest. But you’re starting to realize that healing begins when you choose yourself. When you walk away from toxicity, allow support in, and believe that saying no is not just an option—it’s a right.
Now, you’re looking for support that validates your experience, helps you unlearn survival-based patterns, and surrounds you with examples of healthy, life-affirming ways of being. You don’t want a fix—you want a safe container where you can craft a new story and reconnect with your agency, your voice, and your wholeness.
### Who I Am:
Hi, I’m Leah. I’m a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach and the founder of The Healthy Sensitive. I also co-own Phoenix Rising Family Medicine, where I focus on helping women recover from burnout and reconnect with their energy.
But beyond the credentials, I’m a deeply sensitive person myself. I know what it’s like to feel everything intensely, to care deeply about others, and to push yourself to the point of exhaustion. I’ve walked through my own seasons of burnout, and that’s why I’m passionate about creating safe, supportive spaces for other thoughtful seekers who want more ease, joy, and balance in their lives.
My coaching style is positive-psychology informed and nervous-system aware. That means I help people build on their strengths, discover what makes them feel alive, and learn practical tools for protecting their energy—without hustle, shame, or “fixing.”
This group is one of the ways I bring that mission to life: a space for sensitive, high-performing, heart-centered humans to come together, unlearn old patterns, and practice new ways of living that feel nourishing and sustainable.

### Description:
You’re not lazy. You’re not broken. And you’re definitely not alone.
Burnout in women often doesn’t look like collapse—it looks like over-functioning. Holding it all together. Smiling through the resentment. Crying in the car and showing up anyway. In this conversation, we’ll explore:
- The most common signs of burnout women don’t realize are burnout
- Women who are burned out often gain weight even when they haven't changed their diet - they think their "metabolism is just slowing down"
- They are exhausted... but can't sleep - They think they might have hormone imbalances
- They name emotions like resentment and dread...but they think it just means they are losing their cool
- Why high-functioning, caring women often resist naming it
- HINT: It feels like they are saying they don't love their kids/parents/pets/spouse/etc.
- Why women are more prone to burnout
- HINT: They wear more hats
- What’s really at stake when we say “I can’t do this anymore”
- They might have to start saying "no" which means conflict...and they are already exhausted
- Why many women would rather be given a cancer diagnosis than be told they are "burned out"
And Most Importantly....What To Do About It!
This is an educational, empowering space to learn, reflect, and begin reclaiming your energy—on your own terms.
