Details
Note this event occurs during overnight from Monday November 7 to the morning of Tuesday November 8.

This is one of two city of Calgary parks locations for viewing this astronomical event, the other is at Nose Hill Park (see separate Meetup for that location).
## Details
Watch the total lunar eclipse with us! We will have telescopes set up and will be watching the moon as it passes through the earth's shadow, momentarily disappearing completely.
From 1 am to about 1:30 am, the eclipse won't be obvious, after that until just after 2 am the Moon is noticeably darker. The most interesting views occur between 2 am and 6 am.
This is a drop-in site in the Parking lot at the west entrance to North Glenmore Park / Weaselhead at the south end of 37th Street SW. We appreciate the help from the Weaselhead and Glenmore Park Preservation Society.
