Ambrose University and The RASC Calgary Centre

We celebrate astronomy, to analyze past events such as a Saturn and the Pleiades conjunction. Event starts with an explanation by Dr. Jeans, seasonal messages, then snacks in the Atrium. RASC members demonstrate telescopes and discuss with the public what to find in the sky. Christian Charbonneau in the RASC planetarium gives a 10 min. show to groups of 15 at a time.

We meet regardless of weather, bonus (if some clear sky) is to take audience outside, observe bright and wide-field objects including Saturn, star clusters, Moon, etc. All ages, ~200 expected.
