What we’re about
Do you remember attending youth group at church? It’s kind of like that, but for grown-ups. We are a group of Christian singles who love God and enjoy getting together to have fun. Our founder, Debbie, had a vision to start a Meetup group where Christian singles could get to know each other and fellowship through fun activities. And so Calgary Christian Singles Activity Group (CCSAG) was born. We eat together, have fun together, laugh a lot and look out for one another. We offer connection through co-ed social events for singles including occasional gender specific Women and Men’s events.
Here is an overview of what type of events you can look forward to from our group:
• Monthly coffee meet and greets for newcomers
• Games and activities nights
• Themed parties and potlucks
• Picnics and BBQ’s
• Community service and volunteering opportunities
• Weekend retreats and camping trips
• Hikes and day trips
• Local events/festivals
• Restaurants and food
• Annual Christmas party
As a singles ministry, our mission is: “To provide a safe and welcoming group for single Christians and non-Christians alike, where we can learn and grow in the Lord, make an impact in the lives of others, and enjoy fellowship with each other.”
NOTE: CCSAG is NOT a dating website. We realize this could be a happy result from attending various Meetups, and has happened before, but it is not the focus of our group, and should not be yours. Comments and messaging through the CCSAG website should be event focused.
There is a $10 membership fee, to be paid when you join, and annually after that, which goes to cover the costs of our Meetup site. Additional costs for events will be charged as needed.
