Photo shoot at the Morro Bay Kite Festival

Bring your smartphone and your creative spirit for a photo shoot at the annual Morro Bay Kite Festival.

Anyone can point a camera upwards and snap a pic. But seeking something unusual — like a new angle, clever composition, or exploring light and color — will exercise our creative muscles. Let’s enjoy the show and then share our shots.

• Meet: Coleman Park where the Embarcadero meets Coleman Drive
• Terrain: We’ll walk Morro Rock Beach, so prepare for sand, wind, and/or sun

⚠️ Important: Last year parking was a problem. We might get lucky, but allow time to park in Morro Bay and walk to Coleman Park where the Embarcadero meets Coleman Drive by 8:30am. We’ll head out soon after. (Personally I plan to park at Beach Street and walk to the park … but I also need the exercise.)
