Lake Michigan Adventures at Orchard Beach

Details
Orchard Beach State Park, perched atop a 100-foot bluff overlooking Lake Michigan just three miles north of Manistee, is renowned for its spectacular sunsets and panoramic lake views. Visitors can explore over 3.5 miles of trails winding through old-growth forests and former farmland.
The centerpiece of the park is its recently restored and relocated 850-ton historic structure, and a scenic viewing platform provides even more expansive views of Lake Michigan and its captivating shoreline.
The modern campground is set along the 100-foot bluff overlooking Lake Michigan. Most sites are generous in size and are shaded by oaks and maples. There is 30- or 50-amp service available and a sanitation station. Recycling is available.
There is a lot to do along the coastline. You can read about the park and the region at the Pure Michigan web site.
