Camping and fun on Lake Erie at Geneva State Park

We will be camping at Geneva State Park near Geneva-on-the-Lake, Ohio.
Located on Lake Erie northeast shore, the park reflects the character of Ohio's Great Lake. Visitors are drawn to the wealth of boating and fishing options, as well as the beauty of the shoreline. Nearby, the state's "first summer resort" Geneva on the Lake offers the delights of a seaside town.
Reservations open in January for July camping. When we make reservations, I will post the site number. Come as you are, everyone is welcome to bring their hammock, tent, sleeping bag, camper, RV, or whatever it is they wish to camp in. You might be able to share a site with another camper.
There is plenty to do. The park has hiking paths, a marina with boat or kayak rentals. The creek is said to be a leisurely paddle. And don't forget the beach. There are also restaurants and activities in the village and a few wineries near by.
The nights are made for sitting around the fire relaxing with friends, or friends to be. We will have a pot luck dinner Saturday night so be prepared. Hikes, beach, and other things will be discussed at the campsite. Let's have some fun.
