London LOOP No 6 and 7 - Coulsdon South to Ewell - 13.2km

A chance to get some exercise and fresh air and fill some of that time between Christmas and New Year.

As section 7 is relatively short, we are combining the next two sections 6 and 7 into one walk with a total length of approximately 13.2km, and we will be walking for approximately four hours. If you don't want to do the whole walk there will be the option to leave at the end of section six (approximately 7.6km), approximately 2.5 hours into the walk, where there is a link to Banstead station for trains in to London Victoria and London Bridge.

Starting from Coulsdon South station, we will walk through residential streets past the historic Croydon Merstham and Godstone railway embankment, Carhshalton Road Pastures, Oaks Park and Banstead Downs. The second half of the walk will take us through Warren Farm, Nonsuch Park and Bourne Hill Park to finish at Ewell West railway station, where there are trains in to London Waterloo. We'll be estimating to reach Ewell West station for approximately 4pm. Depending on numbers we may have the option to go to a local pub near Ewell West station to get a drink and bite to eat, however this is not guaranteed due to it being a busy time of year - if you are potentially interested in the pub at the end please add a comment to say as such.

We will meet just outside the entrance to Coulsdon South station for 11:45. Unless there is a transport issue affecting everyone, we will aim to start off the walk at 12pm. I will add my location tracking on Glympse so if you are late, we will not wait but you will be able to catch us up.
