We will be walking section 10 of the London Loop, from Hatton Cross to Hayes and Harlington.

The London Loop is an orbital walk almost completely encircling Greater London, nearly 150 miles long split into 24 sections.

Starting from just outside Hatton Cross station on the Piccadilly line, we will walk through the River Crane and Cranford Country parks, past St. Dunstan's Church and across Bulls Bridge on our way to Hayes and Harlington station which is the finishing point. Hayes and Harlington is on the Elizabeth line, with frequent trains to Central London.
This section is relatively short at around four miles, we will be walking for just under two hours with a ten minute break around half way through. Some of the pathways can get muddy after heavy rain so please bear this in mind. I'll look to cancel the walk a day or two before if the weather is forecast to be bad, please keep an eye on the comments here.

I am not sure if there are any good pubs or places to eat at the end of the walk at Hayes, my tentative plan is to travel one stop on the Elizabeth line to Southall where there is a good vegetarian Indian restaurant five minutes from the station, where there will be a wide variety of meals and snacks available.

If you are interested in coming along to this please indicate in the comments.

Hatton Cross station has two exits. We will meet just outside the entrance on the Great South West road side (not the bus station side) for 11:45. Unless there is a transport issue affecting everyone, we will aim to start off the walk at 12pm. I will add my location tracking on Glympse so if you are late, we will not wait but you will be able to catch us up.
