Women's Card Reading Practise Circle
Details
This event is for females only, to share and practise card reading in a safe and welcoming environment. (And to chat with people who also think cards are cool!)
All skill levels welcome. Whether it's your first time to open your deck, or you are a skilled professional hoping to test out new spreads, come along.
LBTQIA friendly.
Bringing your own card deck is a requirement.
Cut-off for RSVP's is at 12pm AEST on the day.
On the Day
1. We start by settling in, chatting about cards, getting ourselves a drink and setting out the food we each brought to share.
2. Once settled, we introduce ourselves, circle style.
3. Next we do a meditation together, to ground and tune into our intuition.
4. Then we separate off into pairs and swap short readings.
5. Once the time is up, we change pairings and swap again, for a longer period of time.
6. There's usually time for a third swap with a different person.
If you're a newbie Trish will set you up with a more experienced reader. There are materials to help you get started, like card spreads booklets and books on card reading.
The event is now being held in a community room at a private address, so to join in you will need to be okay with giving your mobile number and first name when you RSVP, so we can communicate regarding exactly where it is and how to access it on the day.
Expect a text from me during the week after you RSVP. Your number will not be used for anything else and will be deleted after the event.
Bring a small plate of food to share.
Something that you would like to munch on through out the afternoon. It needn't be anything fancy :) I'm coeliac, so there will always be a gluten-free option. If you have allergies or food preferences, please bring something that you can eat without worry.
A kettle and a coffee pod machine are in the room where it will be held, along with cups, plates, and serviettes. Cutlery is limited, but there are spoons for making hot drinks.
I'll bring teas to share and provide some lactose-free dairy milk.
Bring any drinks you'd like to imbibe on the day. Alcohol is okay. There is a sink and tap in the space, so water will be available.
Toilets are down a lot of stairs! They are wide spaced and gentler than regular stairs. If you're a bit wobbly on your feet from an operation or your knees aren't the best, someone will walk down with you.
RSVP'S CLOSE AT 12PM ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT, AS THERE IS SOME CORRESPONDENCE BACK AND FORTH REQUIRED TO GET THE LOCATION DIRECTIONS TO YOU.
........................................................
Bring a $5 note (or send $5 via bank transfer or PayPal beforehand - details at end of description below) and bring your own deck.
Any type of deck is fine, tarot, lenormand, oracle, angel, pip, gypsy, or even a printed paper version. Whatever you like! Please don't expect to be able to borrow a deck or be provided with one, you must bring your own deck.
If you receive a reading you must give a reading. This will be noted to ensure everyone has a turn before we swap to new partners for the next reading.
Payment Information
Cash, bank transfer, PayID or PayPal are your payment options. For PayID, use the email address: trishandlenormand@hotmail.com and make sure to include your name in the description.
PAYPAL INSTRUCTIONS
Feel free to send your $5 to:
**trishandlenormand@hotmail.com**
via PayPal rather than giving a $5 note on the day.
- Put YOUR MEETUP NAME in the description so I know who it's from.
- CHOOSE "FRIENDS OR FAMILY", not 'Business', as otherwise a quarter of your donation goes to PayPal as a fee.
I'd prefer you pay this way prior to, rather than at, the event. You can also pay with PayPal at the start of the event if you forget to do it beforehand, but not afterwards.
I don't check the email of this account, so if you send a normal email message to that address I won't have read it.
Read the group description for the rules of the group and keep your RSVP updated. For any questions, message me directly through Meetup.
Looking forward to meeting you there ๐๐
This event is held on the last Sunday of each month.
