Westerville TEA Party Monthly Meeting welcomes Kelly Kohls

Details

Join the Westerville TEA Party for their monthly meeting as they welcome Dr. Kelly Kohls!

Join us as Dr. Kohls talks about schools, the state rating system and funding. You will enjoy learning from Kelly how our schools are measured and funded.

About Dr. Kohls:

Dr. Kohls is currently President of the Springboro Community City School Board of Education and on the board of education for the Warren County Career Center. Dr. Kohls taught in public universities for 10 years followed by 15 years in private practice. Kelly Kohls is the Chairman of the Warren County Tea Party and a mother of five children in the public school system. Dr. Kohls believes that public education has changed in a way that citizens need to understand. Dr. Kohls is the President of the Ohio School Board Leadership Council ( http://www.osblc.org ), an organization focused on coaching citizens and School Board members on education issues and the need for a philosophy shift.

Kelly Kohls has been married to her husband Tom for 30 years and has 5 children who attended public schools. She believes that parents have to get more involved in education and need to take responsibility for their education needs. Kelly believes that public education can be the answer for some but, that parents need and should take advantage of options in education. School choice is the obvious option where parents make informed decisions on the education for their child.

If you are interested in the schools and how they are managed, this is the meeting to attend!

If you are DEFINITELY not going to attend this meeting, simply RSVP "no" to this announcement and you will not receive further emails regarding it.
