Grand opening!( RSVP on Eventbrite)

It’s been a long time since I announced a meetup. I’ve been fortunate to organize the very first Bitcoin meetup in Chicago. What an amazing journey has Bitcoin had in those 7 years! I stepped out for a while traveling around, trading, and meeting Bitcoiners from everywhere in the world. Many meetups were born ,and been presented in Chicago. They did great job by spreading message of the crypto revolution.

While some other meetups cover the more social aspects of crypto ,I focused more and more recently on business opportunities available in the space. Bitcoin is the most profitable vehicle of the last 10 years. It has transformed my financial life and many others. To all the newbies I'd say " No, you are not too late to the party!".

This space has a lot more room to grow and has a lot of potential for wealth creation.

Unfortunately, like everybody who was in the space long enough I made my own share of mistakes, falling prey to scams and projects who were lead by untrustworthy people.

No regrets ,those are the scars of veterans but now we know better.

The space has became more mature, we have more experience and more ability to do due diligence. Companies are able to put together teams which are able to check the legitimacy of projects, including legal ,technical and the background of the founders. While every business opportunity assumes risk , the due diligence reduces it greatly.

I am happy to introduce Bitangels - World Premier Network for the Blockchain Industry. It was founded by Michael Terpin ,who was one of the pioneer of investors and entrepreneurs in the space in 2013. The mission of the company is to connect investors with projects while Bitangels do due diligence beforehand. Companies don't pay to pitch,so you can not "buy" the opportunities to present. Attendees usually pay small fee to attend to avoid people who are not business minded.

Grand opening is scheduled on Tuesday March, 4 at 6:30 pm at the Chicago Blockchain Center at WeWork (330 N. Wabash Ave. ) We will have presentations by a few companies, Q&A about Bitangels and networking.

Drinks of my choice will be served. ( I am bringing something from Puerto Rico).
