4th of July Hangout

This is just an opportunity for anyone interested to get together and hang out on the beach during the 4th of July festivities. You can see Evanston and Chicago fireworks in the distance, but the fireworks the locals set off on the beach are the main event.

We'll have some snacks there and probably walk and pickup a pizza, but feel free to bring snacks and drinks of your own. Also, blankets/towels/chairs to sit on may be handy. Alcohol isn't allowed in the park, but you could risk it being confiscated (if discovered). We will have a tent and some coolers to store items.

Feel free to show up later than the starting time.

Unless you're going to get there early (before the meeting), it's highly recommended to use public transportation or get an Uber/Lyft since parking will be fairly difficult.

I will post a picture of the location we'll meet at on the meeting when I get there, so we can more easily find each other.
