About us

Welcome to our vibrant community of women in the Netherlands who are consciously living a childfree life. This is a space to connect, build meaningful friendships, share experiences and celebrate the freedom and possibilities of living childfree.

Join us for relaxed, empowering meetups where we can talk openly about the joys, challenges, relationships, social expectations and everyday experiences of living a childfree life. Whether you’re single, dating, partnered or somewhere in between, you’re welcome here.

Our intention is to grow this into a lively, local community where we can meet in person across Amsterdam and the surrounding area. As we grow, we’ll see what works best for the community and may also introduce online gatherings to make it easier to connect.

Most importantly, this is a judgment-free space where different life choices are respected. No explanations, no pressure, no assumptions, just genuine connection, mutual understanding and good conversations with women who get it.

Who is this community for?
The Childfree Women’s Collective is for women who currently identify with and embrace a childfree life and are looking to connect with others who share this experience. To preserve the authenticity and shared experience, this community is not intended for:

  • Men, including childfree men
  • Women who have children, including adult children
  • Women who are childless but don’t identify as childfree by choice

What is the general age range?
The community is primarily intended for women in their 30s, 40s and early 50s reflecting a shared life stage and the kinds of social experiences that often come with living a childfree life in this stage of adulthood. Women slightly younger or older are very welcome if they feel aligned with the community and its purpose.

Is this a support or dating group?
No. This is not a dating, matchmaking, fertility or emotional-support group. The focus is on genuine friendship, community, meaningful conversations and shared experiences.
