Summer Sundays live music in gardens

Live music in the gardens - one of the Council's 'Summer Sundays' events, with a couple of live bands playing at the Archery Lawn in the Botanic Gardens.

There will be a rolling Stones cover band and a Fleetwood Mac cover band so will be a good event for a dance as well as a picnic.

Music is on from 1-4pm and is free to attend. Bring picnic blankets and snacks (no glass).

Meet at the Peacock Fountain at the main entrance to the gardens on Rolleston Ave (next to the museum). There is a little pumphouse building right by the fountain, this will be a good place to group together before going to find a spot on the nearby Archery Lawn. Meet at 12.30pm to allow time to get to a good spot.

I will post up gps coordinates where we sit and will have a blue 'pom pom' on a stick to hold up alto find us, there's always loads of people at this event so it may be tricky to find the group
