Following the success of our recent movie outing, let's watch another movie together. Afterwards we can go for drinks/meal to Is-Suq.

Join us for the screening of "The Substance" (2024) starring Demi Moore.

Plot: Demi Moore gives a career-best performance as Elisabeth Sparkle, a former A-lister past her prime and suddenly fired from her fitness TV show by repellent studio head Harvey (Dennis Quaid).

She is then drawn to the opportunity presented by a mysterious new drug: THE SUBSTANCE. All it takes is one injection and she is reborn – temporarily – as the gorgeous, twentysomething Sue (Margaret Qualley).

Join us for another Film Club event, this time Halloween Edition. We will be discussing 2017 psychological thriller/horror movie "Get Out" which contributes to the theme.

Plot: A young African-American visits his white girlfriend's parents for the weekend, where his simmering uneasiness about their reception of him eventually reaches a boiling point..

We will not watch a movie there but will talk about it, share opinions and just enjoy each other's company. Feel free to come dressed with Halloween style or bring objects which represent the movie to add extra fun to the event.

Join us for the first Reading Club event where we will be discussing "The Catcher in the Rye" novel by J. D. Salinger.

Plot: The novel details two days in the life of 16-year-old Holden Caulfield after he has been expelled from prep school. Confused and disillusioned, Holden searches for truth and rails against the “phoniness” of the adult world. He ends up exhausted and emotionally unstable..

We will discuss the book and two main themes: protecting the innocent and isolation apart from any other topics which will come up.
